Who is BTS?
BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan / Beyond the Scene) is a seven-member South Korean group under BIGHIT MUSIC (HYBE). The members in official order are RM (Kim Namjoon), Jin (Kim Seokjin), SUGA (Min Yoongi), j-hope (Jung Hoseok), Jimin (Park Jimin), V (Kim Taehyung), and Jung Kook (Jeon Jungkook). They debuted on June 13, 2013 with 'No More Dream.'

The BTS fandom is called ARMY (Adorable Representative M.C. for Youth), officially announced on July 9, 2013. ARMY's color is purple, from the phrase 'I purple you' (Borahae) coined by V at a fan meeting on November 12, 2016. ARMY is active in 100+ countries.

What is ARIRANG, the BTS 2026 album?
ARIRANG (stylized BTS The 5th Album 'ARIRANG') is BTS's fifth Korean studio album, released March 20, 2026. It contains 14 tracks; the lead single 'SWIM' (track 7) debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, BTS's seventh US #1. The album title references the traditional Korean folk song 'Arirang.' Yes. All seven BTS members completed South Korea's mandatory military service between June 2024 (Jin) and June 21, 2025 (SUGA, last to discharge), and were publicly photographed together around July 1, 2025. The ARIRANG album and world tour are the group's first OT7 work since 2022.
