The seven members each have their own Instagram (and some have TikTok); the canonical list is on this page and mirrored on the official BTS Linktree at linktr.ee/bts.bighitofficial.

How do I verify a BTS member's account?

Open the official BTS Linktree at linktr.ee/bts.bighitofficial. If an account is not linked there, leave it untrusted until BTS, BIGHIT MUSIC, or Weverse publicly confirms it. Cross-check the handle against this directory and its public account history. A badge by itself is not enough; an official public link is the stronger signal.

Where do I buy official BTS merch?

The official US store is shop.bts-official.us. For other regions, follow the merch link from the official BTS Linktree (linktr.ee/bts.bighitofficial) or buy through Weverse Shop. Official ARMY Membership itself is sold ONLY through Weverse, anywhere else is a scam. Never buy merch through DMs, Telegram, or 'a friend in Korea who can grab it for you.'

Do BTS members have secret or private accounts that DM fans?

A hidden profile cannot prove who operates it. Trust only public accounts linked by BTS, BIGHIT MUSIC, or Weverse. Treat any unsolicited DM claiming to be a member, asking for money, gift cards, personal information, a private meeting, or a romantic relationship as an impersonation scam.

What's not on this list (and why)

Managers and agency staff. Real people, but their personal accounts are not for public following and we will not link them here.
Member family members. Siblings, parents, and other relatives have a right to privacy. We will not link them even when handles are widely shared in fan spaces.
Fan-run accounts. Translation accounts, update accounts, fancam pages, and fan bases are valuable, but they are not the members. If we publish a fan-account directory later, it will live on a separate page clearly labeled "fan-run."
Anything calling itself "BTS Official Backup" / "Private BTS" / "BTS Fanclub DM." Treat the profile as an impersonation attempt unless an official BTS, BIGHIT MUSIC, or Weverse channel publicly links to it. Do not reply, pay, or share personal information.

How to spot a fake

Check the official BTS Linktree first. Open linktr.ee/bts.bighitofficial. If the handle in question is absent, keep it untrusted until BTS, BIGHIT MUSIC, or Weverse links to it publicly.
Check the account creation date. Account age is supporting evidence, not proof. A newly created profile using an official-looking name is a reason to stop and verify it through BTS, BIGHIT MUSIC, or Weverse.
Don't trust verified badges in 2026. Verified checks can be bought on every major platform now. Treat the badge as decoration; trust the Linktree, the handle, and the account history instead.
Treat "backup," "secret," and "private" claims as impersonation attempts. A hidden profile cannot establish who is behind it. If it claims to be a member, moves the conversation to Telegram, or asks for money, gift cards, login details, or secrecy, stop and verify through an official public channel.
When in doubt, ask the community. Long-running update accounts will flag fakes within hours. Pause, screenshot, and ask before clicking anything that asks for money or login details.
